An opportunity has just become available for an ambitious and driven Structural Engineer to become a highly valued part of a well-established, independent engineering consultancy in Hampshire. Our client delivers a wide range of small and medium building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to play an important part in the delivery of a number of upcoming projects. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP32,000 for this position, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits, a company pension and full support to the completion of chartership.
In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer position you will:
- Hold a good degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Possess at least 18 months experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
- Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
- Possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD
- Possess a good understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities of this Structural Engineer position include:
- Work directly alongside highly experienced and chartered engineers on a range of projects
- Work on a range of projects from inception to completion
- Attend site projects and design meetings as required
- Liaise with a range of valued clients
- Carry out structural design and analysis as required
- Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys
