Job Description:
The role will report to the regional head of Product Management, who in turn reports to the Head of GTS EMEA. It also forms part of the GTS Product Leadership Team, enabling the individual to align and collaborate across the broader GTS Product set. The individual will run the Trade Product Management function, leading a team of 4 product managers and ensuring close alignment with the broader Trade, GTS, and Corporate Banking teams and support partners.

What will I be doing? (Responsibilities)
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Bring a strong product management discipline to the GTS EMEA Trade product set
- In close partnership with the EMEA GTS team, drive product development and management for existing and new Global Trade & Supply Chain solutions
- Build strong linkages with global product team and regional product peers to ensure alignment and global consistency across the product set
- Actively own and manage the product P&L for the EMEA trade capabilities, ensuring focus on responsible revenue growth and strategic cost reduction
- Drive and coach a team of product management subject matter experts, to deliver revenue/net income growth and ensuring strong oversight
- Provide senior support for deal selection/approval, structuring of complex solutions, pricing and assessment of product/client suitability
- Work closely with Trade PSS, GTS Sales, Corporate Banking, Wholesale Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to drive profitable growth while enforcing risk discipline/awareness.
- Ensure full compliance with global, regional, and local in-country regulatory and compliance requirements. Align with wider GTS team to ensure ongoing regulatory changes impacting the trade business are implemented successfully
- Continuously benchmark solution set versus key competitors and 3rd party technology providers. Ensure strong flow of competitive and market information into the Trade and wider GTS team to facilitate product enhancement
- In partnership with Marketing and Sales, increase visibility of the Bank's trade business by creating and executing on a comprehensive internal/external marketing campaign, in partnership with Trade PSS Head
- In partnership with global Product Platform team, drive new market entry for product offering in region to support Global Expansion.

- Strong grasp of critical principles of risk management, credit risk, and compliance / anti-money laundering.

Skills we look for
Essential Skills
- Proven background in Trade Finance in an international banking environment
- Strong understanding of the core trade finance product suite including traditional trade lending, documentary trade, supply chain finance, and receivables finance
- Exceptionally strong product/business management skills, including P&L / financial management, business development, product rollout and delivery, management of risk and controls
- Proven ability to build, lead and motivate a strong team
- Ability to communicate & align cross a wide group of regional and global stakeholders
- Proven record in driving change, innovating and promoting digital transformation
Nice to have
- Broader experience in international cash management products and services, particularly commercial card
- Track record in Export Credit Agency Finance
- Client management skills
- Background in credit underwriting and credit risk management
