Our busy payroll department require a further Payroll Assistant to join their expanding team in Worthing. The payroll services team consists of 24 people firm wide, providing payroll services to over 1,500 payroll clients. This opportunity has arisen due to continued further growth in the client base, both from new clients and the expansion of existing clients.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, a strong work ethic and excellent communications skills. Due to the nature of the role you must also be able to demonstrate that you are able to adhere to the strictest security and confidential arrangements, and ensure the integrity of the data and systems at all times.

We will look into offering study support for Payroll qualifications for the right candidate.

Main tasks will include:

  • Payroll processing,

  • Processing P45s,

  • Data entry of starters, leavers and changes to the relevant client payroll,

  • Liaising with clients to understand their requirements,

  • Updating and processing a range of payment reports,

  • General administration.

The role will involve carrying out data entry and basic salary calculations, which will require you to demonstrate a methodical and accurate approach to work.

Minimum requirements:

  • A Levels
