An opportunity has just become available for an ambitious and driven Structural CAD Technician to become an important part of a market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy in Inverness. Our client delivers a wide range of projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to play an important part in the detailing and modelling of a number of current and upcoming projects. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP35,000 for the right candidate, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and a company pension.
In order to be considered for this Structural CAD Technician role you:
- Hold a HNC/ HND degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Possess at least 2 years' experience within a UK based consultancy
- Possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities of this Structural CAD Technician role include:
- Play an important part in the detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects
- Liaise closely with members of the team to ensure accurate drawings
- Work directly alongside highly experienced Technicians
- Update and revise previous drawings
- Aid the development of more junior employees
