West of England Works delivers the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme across the West of England area and is jointly funded by the European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund. Supported by a budget of GBP 5.7m until 31st December 2019, the Project seeks to support individuals with significant and complicated challenges to move into, or closer towards, work. The Project is managed by Weston College and is delivered through a network of partners from the local voluntary and community sector.

As the Partnership Development Manager (PDM), you will deliver a key role within the Project by managing the relationship between the College and our delivery partners, and providing critical support to promote performance and quality. In addition, as PDM, you will also lead upon a number of activities that add value to the project, enhances the capacity of individual partners, and further develops the effectiveness of the delivery network as a whole.

We are seeking a candidate with significant experience of successfully delivering projects as part of, or in partnership with, the voluntary and community sector, and has effective existing relationships with voluntary and community sector organisations and key strategic partners (e.g., Local Authority Teams, DWP, contacts within the Health sector, etc.; within the West of England would be advantageous). In addition, previous experience of Quality Assurance and delivering a project within ESF guidelines would be desirable.
