Job Overview:

The Field Services Specialist is responsible for managing tasks, tools & programs associated with support of the Concur global field sales organization. The team member will work closely with other Field Services Specialists and other functional teams in order to collectively support the global sales field. Due to the global nature of this role, this role requires flexible working hours. This position reports to the Manager of Field Services.

Responsibilities:

Own sales process, documentation & functionality within Salesforce.com database
  • Ensure all leads are distributed to the correct partners, according to guidelines
  • Assign Accounts/Opportunities based on territory assignments and Rules of Engagement
  • Gain proficiency with internal tools such as Salesforce.com, BigMachines, CRM Fusion
  • Manage ongoing daily tasks and projects for the Sales and Client Development teams
  • Provide ongoing training in tools and processes to the Sales and Client Development teams
  • Create and assist building reports and metrics for Sales Management team


Drive operational efficiencies for Global Sales teams
  • Participate as subject matter expert to improvement project teams
  • Provide documentation and training resources to support launch of enhancements
  • Manage projects related to roll-outs of new products and functionality for our Sales field
  • Thoroughly test use cases prior to launch of enhancements


Assist in the effort of ensuring Data Integrity
  • Assist in the effort of cleaning customer account data
  • Assist in the effort of cleaning prospect account data


Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Accounting, IT, Legal, & Operations teams.
  • Operates under direct supervision with frequent reviews of work, and at times with minimal supervision.
  • Manages activities to agreed turnaround times.
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.


Position Requirements

Education, Experience & Training required:
  • Associates degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum two years experience in a fast-paced marketing or professional office
  • Will consider a recent college graduate at the BS/BA level with Business/Management/Technology/IT-MIS disciplines
  • Ability to pass a background check
