Personal assistants

Do you want to become part of an exciting and innovative new care team in the Tarporley area?

We are currently looking for respectful, caring and highly presentable personal assistants for a young lady of 22 years who has profound and multiple learning difficulties with complex epilepsy. You will be assisting in all areas of support which includes personal care, giving medicines and other medical procedures. A knowledge of sensory activities and a person centered approach is necessary. Organisational and cooking skills will be needed. You will have had previous experience in this kind of care. Paid training to become familiar with the complex needs of this lovely young lady will be provided, with some of this taking place at The Seashell Trust, Cheadle.

Mileage and overnight accommodation will be covered during this period if required. Following this induction period, you will be working in a newly renovated bungalow which is the client’s own home. Your role will be to enable and facilitate a fantastic life for this much loved young person who has a supportive family living close by.

We would love to hear from you if you are hard-working, creative with a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ approach. This will involve accessing varied and appropriate activities within the home and beyond. As 24-hour care is required, working hours can be flexible.
