B+M Architectural are a market leader of architectural glass systems, part of the B&M Steel stockholding Group. We are well known for our quality products and above all our professional customer service.
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Professional (with estimating, sales or drawing office background ideally acquired in the construction, steel, builders merchant or glazing industry).
The successful applicant will be expected to:
1. Whilst dealing with existing clients with the view to develop this accounts and offer a phenomenal service, you will also be required to work pro-actively to establish new clients within the business; this is be by working off of existing data, client queries or pro-actively prospecting if you desire.
3. Provision of technical product advice to customers; full training will be offered.
4. Estimating projects and follow-up.
5. Process orders & manage stock and liaise with suppliers.
6. Handle any complaints with diplomacy and ensure corrective action is taken (including non-conformance reports).
7. Liaise with Transport and Works on delivery dates/lead times and Credit Control on credit worthiness.
8. Exchange of information with General Manager and other sales staff on market activity, customer information, prices, etc.
The varied nature of this role requires: confident telephone manner, organisation with the ability to work to deadlines, attention to detail and above all flexibility as part of a dynamic and pleasant team.
Mainly dealing with clients operating in the glazing industry, an understanding of current construction, fire and safety regulations and standards or experience with AutoCAD will be an advantage
