Reference number: A0060418
Location: Devon
Salary starting at: £17,276 - £18,716 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: 6 months
We are the UK's largest conservation organisation, with over 200 nature reserves giving a home to thousands of species across the whole of the UK. By creating and protecting some of the country's rarest habitats we are ensuring the future for some of our most threatened wildlife.
You will bring energy, resilience and a 'can-do' attitude to enthuse people to join the RSPB via membership and help us to halt species declines and habitat loss. We will provide you with ongoing support and full training, and displays to help you convey our conservation stories.
Your working day will revolve around enthusing people about nature and wildlife at a variety of events and locations, including farmers' markets, shopping centres, large shows and festivals, where you will pass on your passion for our work, and inspire people to support us via membership. You will be ambitious and work hard to meet your targets and KPIs in order to help us achieve our aim of delivering a world richer in nature.
The role will be based in and around Devon and/or Cornwall, depending on where the successful candidate lives. The post holder will require a full, clean driving licence. Travel costs and small van included. Other benefits include, a pension contribution scheme, a work mobile phone and discounts at certain stores through our staff association and more!
Nature is in trouble and you will be part of the solution. Inspiring people to take action will make a difference for wildlife. If you want to be part of a dedicated team working to save nature, and have the passion and desire we are looking for, we want to hear from you! Imagine a world richer in nature! Together we can make a difference!
