We are recruiting a Restaurant Manager for our fine dining restaurant within our luxury care complex.
You would be actively involved in the commissioning process and building your new team ready for the arrival of the first residents in June
Salary: Up to GBP26,000 DOE PLUS 15% an target bonus.
About the role.
The Restaurant Manager is a hands-on working role supervising all the catering service areas within the home for residents and visitors.
- You must ensure that customer care and service are delivered in a consistent and profitable way, and that the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service.
- Manage and deliver all catering services throughout the home ensuring that resident choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety are maintained
- You will ensure that every mealtime is an outstanding dining experience
- Contribute to the home's profits by controlling departmental costs whilst maintaining service standards and product quality.
- Help with the collation of individual resident care plans in relation to their food and nutritional requirements
- Liaise with other departments, in particular the Activities Manager and the Care Services Manager, to provide imaginative and interesting themes for special events
- Ensure residents are listened to and appropriate action is taken with regard to specific requests
Job Requirements
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
Excellent Customer Service skills
Working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
NVQ Level 2 or 3 or QCF equivalents
IT Literate
Ability to organize and prioritise workload, and work under pressure
Ability to communicate and manage interpersonal relationships, including influencing skills
