Senior Marketing Manager, Cambridge -
Are you a driven B2B Marketing Manager with a solid background in engineering/technology, science or software? Have you led and inspired teams? Do you have extensive experience in marketing management, PR and events? If so then please read on, as we have an incredible new position for you to consider.
Leading a small team in central Cambridge, you'll be owning the marketing communications activities for this renowned technical organisation, and will need to be both strategic as well as hands-on. You'll need to have significant experience in science, engineering/technology or software, as the products are complex and highly-specialised, and you must have the B2B commercial experience to make this role a success. A degree in science/engineering is also highly desirable. You'll have led and inspired a team before, have worked cross-functionally with various departments and have significant project management experience. You'll have managed a range of events before, and have led PR campaigns, supporting proven, successful marketing campaigns.
In this hugely-varied role, you'll use your significant experience in B2B marketing management to drive a young but passionate team, creating and project-managing the marketing communications strategy for the business. You'll work cross-functionally to hone in your direction, clearly communicating your strategy to your team. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, pioneering innovative PR campaigns, leading an engaging content strategy and managing some ground-breaking events. Your experience will be a good mix of online and offline, and you'll be just as comfortable providing strategic direction as you will be helping your team with the implementation of it. The industry experience is vital here, and you'll use your scientific/engineering/software/technology knowledge to ensure that every campaign is a commercial success.
