Our logistics team are responsible for keeping everything moving. They ensure that millions of pieces of mail are delivered on time every year across the UK and internationally.

Without logistics we simply wouldn't be able to function. The physical transportation of mail is what we do.

About the role

Processing of mail takes place in the distribution centre. This is a 24 hour function and has an early, late and night shift. Mail is accepted into the Cross Docking area from distribution lorries and, once further processing has taken place, is loaded back onto the distribution lorries.

You will be working in a loud, busy factory-style environment where you will be standing for long periods of time, sorting mailbags so they can be put into cages according to their destinations. You will have to carry mailbags weighing up to 11kg. The role involves working as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines. You will be responsible for loading and unloading wheeled containers from vehicles into dispatch lanes. This involves pushing wheeled containers weighing up to 250kg.

Salary: GBP372.05 per week, quoted amount is per week for full time hours, pro rata for part time hours.

39 Hours Per Week Full time Thursday to Sunday, 22.00pm to 06.00am

We are looking to offer Permanent contracts.
