Senior Solution Sales Executive - Financials - Office of the CFO

Role Description:

The LoB "Office of the CFO" (oCFO) provides specific solutions helping finance organizations and their leaders to address Governance, Risks and Controls (GRC) related challenges as well as all Finance related aspects such as treasury or books closing and regulatory reporting (e.g. IFRS).

Key to success in this position is the ability to understand the challenges that Finance functions are facing on a daily basis. How do they overcome reporting challenges or regulatory changes and how does that change the way operate. A Consultative approach coupled with prior experience and knowledge of the finance function will provide not only credibility when being able to talk in the language of the CFO, but to able to propose effective solutions and ensure SAP's Financial products continue to act as an effective enabler in providing answers to the problems our client face.

The Senior Solution Sales Executive is responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy. The Senior Solution Sales Executive will develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition for all of SAP's targeted solutions within the oCFO area. It is expected that the Senior Solution Sales Executive be adept at creating and nurturing executive relationships on their own while positioning the SAP executive team.

Work Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience of consulting or selling business software to finance departments and/or IT solutions
  • Experience selling to CXOs
  • Conversant with GDPR, GRC, Treasury, GTM etc.
  • Proven track record in target achievement
