PICS are an innovative and rapidly expanding primary care organisation providing quality health services, delivered by local professionals to benefit our local communities.
A clean driving licence and exclusive use of a car will be essential for this role.
You must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and enjoy a challenge. NHS experience is desirable but by no means essential. An empathetic approach to patients, flexible working times, good communication and keyboard skills are essential.
You will be working within a supportive team of administrators and clinical specialists in our growing community pain service, and also administratively supporting our community gynaecology and urology services. These services cover most of the Nottinghamshire area. If you have an eye for detail, thrive on varied and challenging administrative duties from dealing with patient telephone queries, typing dictated clinic letters to booking appointments, and are focused on patient centred care, then this could be the role for you.
The hours will be flexible to suits the needs of the service, but will be between 8.00am and 6pm totalling an average of 7.5 hours per day.
Please note that there is a full time post, however we will consider a job share, if suitable candidates present themselves.
The post will attract a starting salary of £8.35 per hour (equivalent of Agenda for Change Band 2, Spine Point 3). This will be reviewed after 12 months.
