This is an opportunity to join an established provider of Waste Water Treatment Technologies to the UK Water Industry; clients include the 11 UK Water Utilities.
They are currently seeking a team of welder/fabricators to work within their new manufacturing facility in Tavistock, Devon
This company is an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.
The successful candidate shall work within the fabrication department, reporting to their Fabrication workshop Supervisor..
Hourly pay rates shall be banded and awarded commensurate to experience and skill level.
Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:.
Main Duties:
Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes.
Bench work as and when required.
Essential requirements:
- Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to develop patterns.
Desirable:
- Completed an apprenticeship in this trade.
- Own Hand Tools.
-- MMA welding experience.
EN287 and ASME IX
Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test at the Companies head offices and factory in St Columb, Cornwall.
Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thur and Fri 8:00 to 13:00 with excellent holiday provisions.
