Our client is a premier provider of integrated specialty services to the global energy, industrial and infrastructure markets.

Their extensive portfolio of specialised industrial service offerings include scaffolding, coatings, insulation, refractory, formwork & shoring, specialty mechanical services, cathodic protection and other related crafts.

Due to their continued success, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Site Manager to join the organisation.

The Site Manager Role:
As the Site Manager, you will be expected to manage multi-disciplined operations (people, processes and performance) on site, supporting the development of the site business plan (to deliver the operational strategy and budget) and hold responsibility for the implementation/execution.

You will manage performance to meet or improve upon agreed contractual targets for safety, quality, production, delivery, cost, equipment and human resources. Define, measure, monitor, analyse, and implement continuous improvement and sustain best practice. 

The Site Manager will develop a high-performing team with a culture of through effective management activities. 

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • Analysing customer needs and opportunities through new and existing business
  • Developing new wins through close customer relationships
  • Monitoring customer feedback and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collecting, managing and disseminating knowledge in the organisation
  • Analysing and monitoring the finance of all projects/contracts, present reports, budgets, forecasts and performance indicators
  • Customer Satisfaction is achieved by understanding & exceeding customers’ needs and expectations in order to make their business a success
  • Performance measures are put in place to both drive and monitor the success achieved in delivering customers needs
  • Scope, Time and Cost are fully understood, communicated, monitored and controlled & when required pro-active mitigation is evident
  • Profitability of each individual customer is maintained and that of the Business unit is maximised
  • Sustainable growth of the Business unit is achieved by Strategic execution of services to new customers and expansion of service offering to existing

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Middle level managerial experience
  • Prior experience of managing budgets and forecasting
  • Industrial Services and/or engineering background and qualification
  • Good verbal reasoning, numerical and analytical skills
  • Sound understanding of financial measures and reporting
