An established Architectural Design practice based in Central Cardiff are on the lookout for an experienced/ Senior Architectural Technician to join their busy team on a permanent basis.
As part of this role, you will get the chance to work as part of a close-knit and friendly team of Chartered Architects and Technicians, currently 23 strong. You will get the chance to be involved in some exciting projects across the residential and commercial sectors.
Essential skills/ qualifications for this Senior Architectural Technician (Revit/ Residential) opportunity:
- Relevant architectural qualification
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCad
- Strong working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations
- Ideally you will also have client facing experience
- A driving licence is beneficial
As a Senior Architectural Technician (Revit/ Residential) you will be:
- Preparing planning applications and producing detailed drawings for building regulations applications
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
- Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
- Co-ordinating the work of contractors
- Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines
- Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed time frame and according to specification
