The Business
We're looking for a Wealth Analyst to join Coutts at The Strand in London
  • Working with a team of experienced wealth managers and wealth specialists in Key Client Coverage, you'll manage the investment and relationship needs of our clients and ensure a bespoke and engaging customer experience
  • We'll look to you to research and analyse relevant data, maintaining accurate and up to date records and databases

What you'll do

You'll support our wealth managers and wealth specialists in delivering thorough and straight forward advice to our clients on wealth structuring, investments, bonds and protection, and pensions and estate planning, ensuring a superior banking experience throughout. You'll also play a significant role in delivering our advice model in a commercial way, continually looking for opportunities for improvement.

More specifically, you'll:
  • Arrange investment and pension reviews, making sure we adhere to the relevant guidelines
  • Prepare client briefs and obtain necessary information and documentation before client appointments
  • Help to record and resolve any advice and service related complaints
  • Maintain high levels of understanding of the relevant regulation and bank processes
  • Proactively identify and manage or escalate any conduct risk issues

You'll earn the confidence of your customers with clear expertise in your field and astute advice communicated well. You'll be an accomplished networker committed to sharing knowledge, and will use critical thinking skills to cut through complexity, and make sound decisions and recommendations.

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with fantastic analytical and lateral thinking skills, combined with a great communication style and the ability and enthusiasm to learn quickly. Experience in a role supporting a Wealth Manager or specialist would be ideal, along with a familiarity with financial planning tools.

We'll also expect:
  • Experience working with high net worth clients
  • Experience of writing or adding value to wealth reports
  • Technical knowledge of investment and financial planning products
  • A thorough understanding of client profiling, risk analysis and asset allocation

You'll also be highly numerate and have meticulous time keeping. Above all, you'll demonstrate a fundamental commitment to Coutts' business principles through outstanding client service and professionalism.
