Trustees

Dumfries and Galloway Mental Health Association is a long established local charity providing housing and support to people with mental health needs across our region.

We are currently redesigning our organisation to meet the challenges of the future and to ensure we continue to provide valued services and high quality support locally.

To do this our staff will need the support and guidance of a board of trustees from a variety of backgrounds relevant to our work.

We would be particularly keen to hear from people with experience in retail, finance, mental health, human resources, quality and audit and social care legislation. However we would also be delighted to hear from anyone who feels their skills or experience could be an asset to us.

Being a trustee is an unpaid role, though expenses would be payable and would require attendance at monthly board meetings, our annual general meeting and providing support in relation to specific pieces of work as required.
