We are a well established engineering company specialising in safety and control systems with locations in Stockport and Leicester. Due to sustained increase in business turnover, this independent engineering company is looking to recruit additional administration support in their Ashby-de-la-Zouch office near Leicester.
The role will involve working as part of a team providing an efficient and effective administration service to their customers and engineers.
They are looking for someone who is self-motivated with good organisational and communication skills. You must also be very IT literate as you will be required to update technical drawings in their CAD packages for which training will be provided. Duties briefly consist of:
- Processing project related documentation using in-house computer system.
- Assisting with the compilation of project related manuals for clients to meet delivery deadlines.
- Assisting with archiving documentation.
- Archiving and retrieving job records.
- Scanning, filing and photocopying documents.
- Responding to telephone enquiries both internally and externally.
- General administration duties to assist the smooth running of the department.
- Assisting the Engineers to produce designs and drawings using AutoCAD in order to meet agreed deadlines with on the job training provided.
