Senior Mechanical Engineer

They have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team where you will manage the mechanical engineering function.

Within the role you will develop the mechanical engineering and maintenance practices, consulting and coordinating with other functions where needed. Implementing and controlling engineering safe working practices, you will ensure that mechanical engineering activities comply with Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory requirement, whilst leading and actively supporting continuous improvement groups. You will also be responsible for managing your team, setting targets and objectives and improving engineering practices.

They are looking for someone who has a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent, coupled with previous management experience. With a strong mechanical background and proven experience in a range of engineering and manufacturing operations, you will have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic and self-motivated approach to work.
