Link Worker / Social Housing Support / Youth Support Worker / Community / Social Care
(Gloucester, Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean)
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Primarily daytime shifts to cover the hours between 7.30am and 11.00pm.
Shifts: 2.00pm – 10.00pm (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £21,572 per annum
Weekend on-call every 4-6 weeks

Working as part of a team to create a motivational, inspiring and dignified environment that provides support, advice and skills to young people regardless of background, to enhance their quality of life particularly those with complex issues including social isolation and alienation, trauma, lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem.
You will be able to deal effectively with repairs, voids, lettings and contractors and demonstrate knowledge and competency in all areas of housing management, including recent legislative developments and income management.
To be successful you will have experience of:
- managing complex support plans.
- multi agency working including statutory and voluntary agencies to maximise service provision
- working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- working with young people including housing advice, advocacy work or residential work
You will have GCSE English and Maths or similar, and a relevant professional qualification in social work, housing, youth and community, social care, or NVQ Level 4 Support and Guidance would be desirable.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) check; a full and current driving licence and the use of your own vehicle will be required for this role.
