Peabody has an exciting opportunity for multiple Female Support Workers to join the team based in Chelmsford. You will be there on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will be offered a competitive salary of £17,063 per annum- £8.75 per hour.

The Female Support Workers role:

You will provide a high standard of care and support to adults with their day to day needs both at home and within the community.  You should have a person focused approach, a positive attitude and ability to encourage choice, dignity, and privacy, respect and community participation for the customers we support. You will be required to deliver high quality and effective support services, which promote the independence, wellbeing and inclusion of customers, in accordance with Peabody policies and procedures and the principles of best practice.

We provide 24 hour support across 7 days per week, therefore, the successful applicant will be required to work various shift patterns to ensure the service is supported 24 hours per day, so flexibility is a must. The shifts are worked out on a rota basis to suit the needs of the individuals we support.

As one of our Female Support Workers you’ll need a sense of humour, an approachable manner and the resilience to cope with a busy, challenging and emotive job. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as successful applicants will receive thorough training and an induction.
