The Role: 

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support our client’s Accounting function. 

In this varied role, you’ll perform a range of tasks covering order processing, invoicing, licensing, reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections. 

You’ll also help to improve existing processes and drive automation within the department to ensure accurate reporting. 

Additionally, your duties will involve: 

- Liaising with colleagues regarding any customer-facing issues 
- Reviewing employee expense reports 
- Assisting with bank reconciliations 
- Processing VAT returns 
- Supporting the UK Accounting Team Lead when required 

About You: 

To be considered as an Accounting Assistant, you’ll need: 

- At least two years’ accountancy experience 
- Strong communication skills 
- A detail-oriented approach 
- The desire to learn 
- Great organisational and time-management abilities 

Ideally, you’ll have experience with Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics 365, but this isn’t essential. 

Other companies may call this role Accounts Clerk, Finance Clerk, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator or Finance Administrator. 

Candidates with experience in Accountancy, Accounting, Accounts, Finance or a Financial field are also encouraged to apply.
