As Educational Adviser (Welsh Language) your role is to support our students and enquirers to succeed in achieving their educational goals. This is a specialist guidance role working bilingually across the Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) Service, but it is expected that the post holder will hold a case load of Welsh-speaking students as the Open University moves towards implementing Welsh Language Standards.
The post holder will be located within Student Recruitment and Support at the Open University in Wales, you will be expected to work closely with the Communications Manager (Welsh Language) to support the development of the University’s bilingual communication with students.
You will possess a degree and/or appropriate professional guidance qualification, or equivalent skills and experience. You will demonstrate a high level of spoken and written language skills in Welsh and in English and the ability to communicate fluently, effectively, and professionally in both languages.
