Graduate Structural Engineer (2 Years' Experience)



GBP30,000 + Benefits + Support to Chartership

An opportunity is immediately available for an ambitious and driven Structural Engineer to become an important part of a small, independent engineering consultancy in Hertfordshire. Our client is looking to welcome the successful applicant to become an important part of the team and play a central part in the delivery of a wide range of building structures projects. Our client delivers projects across the residential and commercial sectors and have develop a strong reputation for the delivery for the high quality delivery of a range of projects. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP30,000 for this position, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and full support to chartership.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

  • Hold a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Possess at least 2 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
  • Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication

Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role include:

  • Work directly alongside highly experienced and chartered engineers
  • Play an important part in the delivery of a wide range of projects from inception to completion
  • Attend site projects and meet with clients as required
  • Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
  • Liaise closely with a range of valued clients
  • Carry out structural design and analysis as required
