As a Woodyard Operator, you will join the team supplying biomass fuel to keep our manufacturing plant operational and fibre to our pulpmill. 
 
Carrying out fuel and fibre operational activities, you will work in an efficient and safe manner and support the Woodyard Team Leader. 
 
Specifically, you will: 
 
- Offload Roundwood 
- Maintain A frame and chip piles through chipping 
- Assist with stock storage and stock rotation 
- Provide Roundwood to the loading decks 
- Operate stand-by equipment and the control room as required 
- Assist engineering staff during planned and unplanned shutdowns 
- Maintain the woodyard area in a safe and tidy condition 
 
The ideal candidate would hold a 360 wheeled excavator licence or similar. However, applicants that possess current heavy plant licences such as CITB or CSPS, will also be welcomed. 
 
Experience of following risk assessments, safe working practises, isolations, permit to work systems and pre-use vehicle checks would be advantageous.
