YMCA DownsLink Group is a supported housing provider with around 600 units of shared and self-contained accommodation within around 80 properties, across East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey, and we are continuing to grow our stock base.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asset Manager to join our established and well known charity whose mission is to support young people to Belong, Contribute and Thrive.
We are looking for somebody to develop our stock investment strategy and lead our small team of in-house maintenance staff. You will have experience of managing a repairs and maintenance service across a landlord function as well as under lease and management agreement arrangements, and be familiar with the regulatory and legislative responsibilities we have as a Registered Provider.
You will need a good understanding and working knowledge of prevailing UK law in relation to repairs and maintenance for landlords, and have a flexible and adaptable attitude to work and be able to work autonomously.
