Multi Drop Delivery Owner Driver

We have a number of ongoing opportunities with large online retailers and in return you will receive excellent rates of pay and incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely delivery of goods to pre-determined customers on specific routes.
• Proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials.
• Reviewing orders prior to delivery.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Providing exceptional customer service to customers.
• Communicate with customers by phone to update them of timed deliveries if there has been any issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival.
• Maintain communication with management to inform them of any change of delivery, route or schedule.
• Keeping accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management in a timely manner.
• Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations on all work sites.

Criteria

• Own/lease or rented full panel van. The vehicle must be less than 6 years year old and less than 3.5 tonne with a minimum load capacity of 5M cubic
• Have van insurance covering you for carriage of goods, hire and reward and public liability.
• Goods in Transit Insurance for a minimum of GBP25,000
• Public Liability Insurance minimum of GBP2 million
• Have a full UK Driving Licence (maximum of 6 points)
• Have the right to work in the UK
