This is an opportunity to join an exciting start up video sharing social networking app that works on some seriously cool stuff and is owned by a well-funded tech company with a global presence. Genuine rapid growth since day one means they are now looking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join the team in London and play a key role in driving their European expansi…blah blah blah.

OK, you've possibly heard stuff like the above before, but believe me when I say that interesting and lucrative opportunities like this really don't come around too often. That said, it's not for everyone. But, if you have what it takes to thrive in a high intensity start-up environment, the potential payoff could be huge. Indeed, come on board and impress and you could easily be leading your own team within a year. Within two you could be directing a business area. Put simply, their uber-meritocratic culture means there's no reason why you can't make quantum leaps to the top if you do the right thing.

What IS the right thing I hear you cry? Here's the breakdown:

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients in the social media and entertainment industry and follow through to a successful agreement
- Possess a strong understanding of the product, the competition in the industry and position this wisdom to leverage them into impactful marketing activities
- Propose customized marketing solutions for clients and manage innovative campaigns on the platform
- Research new market trends as well as user insights to leverage them into impactful marketing activities
- Event management and attendance at local events or shows

So far so good? Great. Now here come the must-haves.
You'll need to be educated to degree level and have at least 2 years experience in a relevant marketing, business development, partnerships or sales role in the digital media or online entertainment industry. You're likely to be an activator, someone decisive and courageous who likes to take action and get results. At the same time you'll need a strong creative flair and a strategic mind, staying on top of current market trends and incorporating them into impactful marketing activities for your partners. Fluent English is also a given, And, if you have another European language, even better.

Sound like you? Let's talk…
