We have a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, you will own the successful delivery of a portfolio of new build application upgrade and replacement projects within a major programme where you have full responsibility for their deliverables and will be part of the senior leadership team for the programme.
Your future duties and responsibilities: As the Senior Project Manager you will own the entire delivery cycle, typically managing all aspects from initiation through to transition service and manage the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting against completion of project objectives and budget.
Your responsibility will be to own the creation of the budgets in line with handover from bid teams, establish and implement appropriate processes to understand, control and report on budget.
You will pro-actively identify complex and high-impact and balance the needs of all stakeholders to gain their full engagement and commitment to the business and commercial outcomes and identify, track and manage complex risk.
Also you will lead high-level external and internal stakeholders relations and negotiate amendments to agreements with members, suppliers or customers to ensure delivery.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: In order to be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience of delivering new build application upgrade and replacement projects.
Experience of managing software improvement projects and being in a client facing environment is essential.
Also you must be commercially aware, able to demonstrate experience of scope management, experience of managing external suppliers and have strong planning skills, with demonstrable experience of having built a plan for end-to-end delivery of a project.
