Salary: Band 6 GBP26,565 - GBP35,577 pa
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new engineer/technologist to join our Radiotherapy Technical Services team. The post holder will work as part of a small team based at the Churchill Hospital (Oxford Cancer Centre). Cover and assistance for the new Swindon GWH satellite will also be required so flexible working is a must, including extended days and weekend rotas.
The post holder will assist the team with scheduled preventative maintenance, servicing, repair, calibration, safety testing and quality assurance on a limited range of medical equipment used for radiotherapy treatment.
The post holder will have a strong background in electronics and is required to work to high standards of safety and accountability. Candidates with less experience may be appointed at a lower band, and given training as required. Knowledge of linear accelerators would be advantageous but full manufacturer's training will be provided.
