We need your help to do this…

This Assistant Warehouse Manager will support the Warehouse Manager by building and developing the Trade, Wholesale, Retail and Amazon Warehouse Team and operations to meet the rapid growth expected in these new channels for the brand. 

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for planning of workload and resources of their team and wholesale remit to ensure that customer delivery targets are met.

What will you be doing?

+ Providing a visible shop floor presence and leadership to a diverse and variable workforce with a heavy reliance on temporary labour
+ Close liaison and support of the Team leader and other Warehouse teams
+ Maximising efficiency through use of our WMS (Warehouse Management System) Accellos One
+ Liaising with Production, Sales Administrator and Amazon lead to ensure that orders are completed on time and in full (OTIF)
+ Responsible for ensuring that KPI targets are met at minimum cost per unit (CPU)
+ Working in accordance with suppliers manuals, specifications and other requirements communicated by the customer
+ Detailed planning of workload for pick-pack and dispatch
+ Developing and improving processes, both physical and system driven
+ Managing workload priorities to meet customer requirements and carrier collection deadlines
+ Ensuring that H&S regulations and good manual handling practice is adhere to create a safe working environment
+ Promoting high standards of housekeeping and presentation in the workplace 

What are we looking for?

+ Previous supervisory experience in a fast paced DC
+ Experience working in a similar SME environment with multi-SKU pick-pack and assembly experience would be a strong advantage 
+ Good Excel and MS Office skill level and experience with commercial use
+ Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently
+ Versatile and deadline conscious, with the ability to plan with short notice
+ Able to work accurately and efficiently with a strong quality focus
+ A good verbal and written communicator
+ Sage and WMS experience & previous exposure to supplying large retailers would be advantageous
