Role: Resourcer
Location: Cannon Street, London

My client is looking to add to its well established and high performing, Investment Management recruitment team.

As a resourcer, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing candidates within our specialist areas and focusing on specific live requirements, taking responsibility for the candidate process, in collaboration with the broader sales team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Following a briefing with the sales team, agree a search strategy and coordinate an exhaustive search for suitable candidates
  • Search for candidates for specific thoroughly, first identifying suitable candidates within the network, then moving on to our database, job boards, adverts and social media
  • Maintain candidate silos, as directed by Management, based on company requirements
  • Give regular updates on your search and present a final shortlist when complete
  • Interview and qualify candidates thoroughly gaining an understanding of their skills, motivations and suitability, matching them to relevant roles
  • Agree candidates to submit with the relevant Consultant and prepare the candidates CV in their format utilising the appropriate coversheet, reviewing the document's format and checking for errors
  • Network within the industry and keeping abreast of industry initiatives, to build profile, obtain recommendations and generate leads
  • Present your candidates to your colleagues, ensuring that all candidates we speak to have been briefed on appropriate roles
  • Keep regular contact and organise meetings with key candidates
  • Attend delivery meetings and be aware of all live requirements and key projects within our clients in order to fully brief candidates on live roles across the business
  • Keep an accurate record of all activity within the database
  • General sales and administrative support for the team

Key and Attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Resourcer
  • An understanding of the Technology, Change Management or Investment Management (desirable)
  • A desire to work in a target driven, sales environment
  • Excellent time management/organisation skills
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
