Senior Trusts and Grants Fundraiser GBP33, 053 - GBP36, 243 per annum (inclusive of Inner London Weighting) Family Action Head Office, London (Islington, near Angel Tube) 37 hours per week Family Action transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country. We have been building stronger families since 1869, and today work with over 45,000 families through over 135 community-based services. Thousands more are supported with financial assistance through education and welfare grants programmes. We have launched an ambitious strategy to grow and modernise the organisation. We aim to reach more service users and be stronger than ever by our 150th anniversary in 2019. To achieve this growth, we need to increase our voluntary income, including our income from trusts, statutory grants and the Big Lottery Fund. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fundraiser with a proven track record of securing significant income, to join our small fundraising team. You will be part of a highly motivated, successful team, fundraising for wide range of innovative projects across England and Wales, supporting some of the most disadvantaged children, families and individuals to overcome the challenges they face and fulfil their potential. The primary objective of the role is to raise significant income from Trusts & Foundations, Statutory funders and Big Lottery grants. You will be required to liaise with operational colleagues to transform their project concepts into compelling, fundable projects. You will have excellent bid- writing skills and you will be comfortable working on proposals of all sizes and working to strict deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of successful fundraising from these income streams who wishes to take their experience to the next level. We are forward looking, ambitious and with a commitment to continuous improvement. We are a people focused, can-do organisation that strives for excellence in all we do and operates with mutual respect.
