Chef Caterer / Licensee / Venue Manager

 

The Hill is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated individual (s) to provide exclusive catering for up to 100 covers, manage the dining / bar facilities and provide a ‘front of house’ service to existing and potential clients. The successful applicant will also be required to manage events at the venue.

The Hill is a Grade 2 listed building situated in an elevated position close to the centre of Stroud with commanding views of the town and Severn Valley. There is ample free parking with well managed and attractive gardens for outside functions. It has developed a reputation over recent years for quality dining and is used by local businesses for lunches and meetings. The catering and dining facilities at The Hill are modern, light and well maintained. The public areas are comfortable and well decorated with separate bar and cloakroom facilities.

The building also is the centre for Stroud Masonic Hall and therefore has an almost guaranteed demand for dinners and lunches throughout the year. Other organisations also meet regularly at the venue.

The Hill offers a full range of catering facilities which cover the complete catering spectrum. There are opportunities for the successful applicant to further develop business with the potential to substantially increase the turnover through opportunities we know exist within the Stroud Valley and beyond.

We would expect the appointed person (s) to be in position by early August 2018
