Salary: £25-35,000

Job Elements

·Competitive quotations and effective purchasing strategies for projects.

·Benchmark current as well as Identify and benchmark potential suppliers

·Provide material costing at RFQ stage considering customer requirements

·Liaise with NPI team on all new Products to ensure customer satisfaction

·Develop supply chain solutions for new parts/Products

·Negotiation of best (cost effective) package at quotation & NPI stages

·Create VA/VE opportunities

·ECN & PCN management (obsolescence)

·Inventory management

·Participate in cross functional team activities

The ideal candidate will have:

·CIPS qualification, or working towards it

·Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally Electronics).

·MRP / ERP experience

·Experience of sourcing and NPIs.
