They require an experienced, highly organised Bid Writer with strong investigative skills and experience of gathering information for the completion of PQQs and Tenders.
Job Description
- Review of tender alert websites and tracking of tender notices and pro-active sourcing of tenders to ensure the Company is included in desired bids.
- Act as project administrator for the submission of tender proposals. Responsible for managing the cross-functional aspects required in putting together tender information and documentation from sourcing to submission.
- Play a key role in Tender and PQQ document completion. Review information required and summarise objectives. Carry out research for PQQs and Tenders and compile answers in response to questions.
- Ensure all company documents requested are current and that responses are presented in line with client request. Proof reading and researching of documents with attention to detail at all stages of process.
- Management of both electronic and hard copy tender responses including all other relevant documents and materials, storing and maintaining in an organised and easily accessible manner
- Completion of e-tenders as required.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone and corporate presentation.
- Organising responses in relevant folders for future proposal requests.
- Managing tender enquiries and queries and all aspects up to and after final submission.
Skills Required
- Previous experience of submitting tender applications
- Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement methods and tender administration systems
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Ability to use own initiative and deliver without supervision
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
- Confidence to communicate effectively at all levels
