Our client is a leading provider of 2-person home delivery services – they are now recruiting for a Fleet Administrator at their Daventry head office.

This role will cover an 11-month maternity leave on a full time basis working 40 hpw -  Mondays to Fridays from 08.30 to 17.00.

The Fleet Administrator plays a key part in their Fleet team and you will carry out the administrative support for the safe and compliant operation of the company fleet, company cars and fork lift trucks.

You will be responsible for providing timely and effective communication to Head of Fleet & site management, sub-contractors and Client in relation to Fleet and administrate all data related to the fleet:

  • Reconciliation of Insurance, Fuel and Fleet Management System data;
  • Reporting on Fuel data and production of KPI’s;
  • Administration of Company’s Operator Licence, ordering discs and updating DVSA Online system;
  • Administration of Driving Licence Checks and compilation of CPC training records and Digital Tachograph card;
  • Administration of Penalty Charge Notices and Speeding Fines and ensuring all vehicles on relative toll charge accounts, EG Congestion Charge, Bridge Charge;
  • Ensuring sub-contractors documentation complies with client Policy and update of database.

This role would suit an experienced Administrator looking to gain or develop experience in transport industry:

  • High level of computer literacy;
  • Experienced in managing detailed information;
  • Ability to summarise data and to prepare reports;
  • Proactive, be able to work on your own initiative;
  • Knowledge and understanding of transport legislation.
