Position: Milker/General Farm Worker Ref: 1850
Location: Cheshire
The Farm:
A 1,000 acres dairy farm with 500 crossbred on a New Zealand based system is seeking a Milker/ General Farm Worker.
The Role:
Milking is completed twice daily in a 33/66 swingover parlour. The herd are cubicle housed in winter. Animal welfare is important on this farm.
The Applicant:
Responsibility for the herd, milking, and General Farm worker.
Our client requires:
- Day to day responsibility for the herd.
- Competent and experienced Milker.
- Competent and experienced at all aspects of stock care, feeding, bedding cleaning etc
- Experience in machinery skills including feeder wagon and slurry tanking
Accommodation:
Accommodation is a static mobile home on the farm.
Additional Info:
This is a contract position, where the successful person will operate as an agency worker with Farm Solutions. This means that the person will not have sub-contractor responsibilities and all statutory tax deductions and payments will be made by Farm Solutions on their behalf. Hourly pay operates, which includes pay for overtime hours worked.
