We`ve got an exciting new vacancy for our prestigious Shipley based client, looking to appoint an interim assistant accountant on an initial 6 month contract.
As the assistant accountant you will assist a team of 5 accountants in preparing the monthly management accounts, nominal ledger and journal postings, end of year accounts, invoice verification and ongoing prepayments.
Our client uses Sage 200 accountancy software, and is looking for someone with a good working knowledge Sage 200 or 50.
If you are working towards an AAT or other accountancy qualification then we want to hear from you!
Candidates must have previous experience in an accountancy role.
In return for your skills our client offers;
A Salary in the region of £24,000 - £26,000 (pro rata)
Fixed term contract that could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Onsite parking.
