Charity Supporter

The Trust is looking for a charismatic, enthusiastic and passionate part-time Charity Supporter in mid or West Cornwall who can inspire members of the public to regularly support its charitable work through the Trust’s membership scheme - this role is not a ‘hard sell’.

A team of Charity Supporters work at pre-arranged venues such as supermarkets, local events and agricultural shows, using a static display or activities to assist in engaging with the public to gain memberships.  Applicants should be capable of setting up and manning a stand, possibly for up to 7 hours a day at external venues, and be willing to work weekends.

Previous fundraising, sales or customer service experience would be an advantage, but more important is being articulate, self-motivated, engaging and having an enthusiasm for wildlife and nature conservation. 

Part-time, earliest start date: 20^th May 2018

Salary £8.30 per hour or commission whichever is the greater plus mileage
