We provide sheltered housing and seek a genuine and caring person with an interest in the welfare of older people.
The successful applicant will be dedicated, mature in attitude and of cheerful disposition. Experience in the care sector is essential but formal qualifications are not required.
You will be a good neighbour to forty residents over 60 years of age and will visit them each weekday morning to provide support and assistance where necessary.
You will liaise with care providers and medical professionals but you will not administer personal care.
You will be asked to organise residents' social functions. It is essential that you bring to your work a positive attitude and commitment.
You will be required to live on site. Pets are not allowed.
