Finance Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join a booming app-based car parking service. Based in Canary Wharf, London, the successful Finance Executive will earn a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

The company is aiming to transform the parking industry by providing a platform that enables motorists to find and book available parking spaces online. It was founded in 2006 and was recently named as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies by Leap 100. As a Finance Executive you will be joining the company’s Canary Wharf office to assist them in their constant growth. Key duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Overall responsibility for customer payments, processing refunds and chasing missed payments
• Responsibility for paying Space Owners each month
• Resolving ad hoc customer payment issues and queries
• Assisting with the set up and maintenance of a Xero account
• Consistently working to improve the efficiency of the system
• Liaising with accountants regarding VAT returns and annual accounts
• Handling and submitting evidence against any disputed customer payments

As a Finance Executive you will play a crucial role within the team with both high responsibility and a high level of freedom, so it is essential for you to be self-driven, highly motivated and passionate about the role. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:

• Experience in an accounting role would be advantageous but not essential
• Experience using Xero would also be advantageous but is not essential
• Able to communicate to an excellent standard both written and verbally
• Exceptional computer details
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong numerical skills
• Focused with the ability to self-motivate
