Claims Handler / Claims Negotiator - Insurance

Job Title: Claims Handler – Mechanical Breakdown Insurance

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £16,000 per annum rising to £16,500 on completion of probationary period with an opportunity to earn commission.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Who are they?

Operating under a number of prestigious brands, the AA Warranty brand being one of their most recognised, the Company are a leading provider of quality insurance products for the motor industry predominantly warranty, mechanical breakdown and GAP.

So, what will you actually be doing?

They are an inbound call centre. You will be gathering claims information from their existing customers & validating that with vehicle repairers. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a mechanic, they have a team of those to assist the Claims Handlers! They ensure that the Company are paying all valid claims that are raised to them.

What do they want from you?

It’s simple really, excellent communication skills, a willingness to look after people & treat them fairly, a high level of professionalism, be a team player and a little common sense goes a long way too!

It would help your application if you have had previous Claims or Customer Service experience and are computer literate.

What you get in return?

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm, no evenings or weekends.

The salary for the role is £16,000 which rises to £16,500 on completion of a 3-month probationary period. There is also the opportunity to increase your earnings with their monthly incentive scheme.
