A Care Manager is needed to cover a service in Bedford working a permanent full time contract. This is for one of the UK`s leading providers of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs in community settings, outreach, single persons services, supported living and group living.

About the job; this role is a permanent and full time role working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm with some flexibility needed as you would expect in any care management role. The role is paying £24,500 to oversee the outreach supported living service caring and supporting adults with a range of Learning Disabilities averaging an age of 30 - 50 years old. You will oversee everything to do with your service from ensuring your service users receive the best possible care, to supporting and developing your staff and will report into a very experience and hard working Area Manager. You will work for a forever developing company who can introduce different promotion opportunities for your hard work.
The post holder will need to be confident, a natural leader and communicator. You will be expected to support the Area Manager to ensure:
- High standards of professional practice, including the support and advice to the service managers and team leaders.
- The growth and development of the region.
- Ensure that a high quality of management of services is being achieved and lead on any quality innovations: driving forward a person centred culture and the values of the business.
- You will have the drive, commitment and enthusiasm to support, advice and motivation to staff teams to ensure that the people who use are services are supported to be as independent as possible and achieve their goal.
About the ideal candidate;
- Sound knowledge and experience in the Social and Health care Sector
- Have previous management experience within the care sector
- Car driver
A salary of £24,500 will be offered for a permanent and full time role working Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm. Benefits, pay increase and career progression opportunities will be discuss at interview.
