Nursery Practitioner
Term Time only position
Full and part time positons available
Private Day Nursery
Central Location on all main transport routes
Flexible hours to be discussed upon interview
Candidates Must;
- Previous experience is essential
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Passion for providing a high quality level of childcare
- Understanding of the safeguarding and welfare requirements
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of planning and observation and the key working system
- Knowledge of OFSTED standards would be an advantage
- Able to work on own initiative
- Sensitivity to the needs of the children, parents and community we serve
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Needs to be friendly, positive and approachable
- Needs to be able to provide fun stimulating activities for children between the ages of 2-5
Some of the responsibilities will include;
- To assist your team and room leader in the smooth running of the room
- To provide standards of care and education within the setting , whilst also meeting children’s individual needs
- To follow and uphold St Josephs preschool nursery’s policies, procedures and ethos at all times and report any failings to do so by others to your room leader
- To follow all requirements set by OFSTED / other legislative bodies at all times
- To ensure the children within the setting are safeguarded at all times
- To keep the room tidy clean and looked after
- Promote a positive relationship with parents. children and colleagues
- DBS To be met by Employee
