Market Development Support Manager - Housing

This is an excellent new opportunity for a Marketing orientated individual with a background in Housing, Architectural Practice, or Engineering to bring their experience and enthusiasm to bear in supporting the commercial and business development activity for the Members of a leading Industry Advisory body.

This new role has a focus on hands-on representation of the organisation, both internally at committee level, and to external stakeholders such as Housing Developers and Housing Associations.

You will cover a wide range of products going into the Housing sector, but with a focus on masonry, all with the objective of further strengthening the competitiveness and enhance the attractiveness of their Members' products and solutions in the market.

You will also manage the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market intelligence (including competitor activity) to provide feedback to the Members, together with the action points generated and associated recommendations.

All this activity is with the overall objective of increasing the Members' success in market competitiveness.

In turn, you will have:

- It is essential that you have a background in Housing, Architectural Practice, Engineering or closely related fields, together with a sound professional knowledge of Housing Development, Developers, Registered Social Landlords and SMEs in this field.

- It would be an advantage to have a knowledge of masonry construction and an understanding of all products and processes required for housing development.

- Confident in managing multiple and simultaneous projects, and accustomed to working in a collaborative and co-operative style with colleagues from different disciplines to take those projects from conception to completion within deadline and budget.

- A great team worker who can present to, and represent the association, both internally and externally to all our varied stakeholders.
