Demand Planner - FMCG
Surrey
A global FMCG company is looking for a creative, go-getting and industrious contract Demand Planner for one of their offices based in Surrey. This is an all-encompassing role responsible for all S&OP and forecasting activities (both with customers and products). You will create and maintain an effective forecast model for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers and other sources. You will be able to make a difference in this role, with a great impact on process improvement and a SAP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Working as an S&OP specialist, Designing and implementing robust sales forecasting processes
* Organise weekly and monthly forecasting information (with an aim to improve OTIF)
* Review promotional performance and advise amendments to future forecasting
* Balances demand with supply in a best profitable way aligned to business strategy
* Pro-actively forecast change
* Aid with the SAP implementation
* Work closely with the international commercial team, NPD, marketing, supply and logistics to ensure an efficient supply chain
Key Skills:
* CIPS qualified or bachelor's degree within a Supply Chain related field
* 5+ years within an FMCG Demand Planning environment
* System thinker
* Interpersonal communication skills
* Execution power
* Experience in managing a full-scale S&OP process
* Teamwork: ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team
