The Senior Compliance Manager (Guernsey) will have MLRO responsibilities as well as managing the wider compliance team on island.
The successful applicant will already reside or be keen to relocate to Guernsey.

Description
The Senior Compliance Manager (Guernsey) will have MLRO responsibilities as well as managing the wider compliance team on island.
Other responsibilities will include -
Liaise with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission
Promote policies and procedures firm wide as appropriate
Work with the board to prepare and present on compliance, and AML matters
Implement strong compliance monitoring in the Guernsey office - regularly assessing and reviewing practices in line with regulatory changes.
As appropriate, support report writing for, and on occasion attend client boards.
Be proactive in communicating regulatory changes, ensuring policies, procedures, documents and general compliance tools are adaptable to accommodate any such changes
Profile
The successful Senior Compliance Manager (Guernsey) will already reside or be keen to relocate to Guernsey in the Channel Islands. More information about the location, low income tax, welcoming community and general relocation is available through our offshore team.
The Senior Compliance Manager (Guernsey) must also possess -
- Track record of ownership and initiative in a changing regulatory environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication prowess
- Multitasking and reevaluation of priorities a must
- Strong understanding and hands on experience with compliance activities within a financial services company
- Good knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory environment
- University degree and / or ICA Diploma
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector
